D&D 5e: Samar Needs Heros – 21 Dec 24 – 6pm

Samar’s golden age is hundreds of years in the past… the vestiges of greatness remain, and Riversedge is still a marvel of a city and the center of education and invention, but Samar barely has a functioning government. Many of the hallmarks of the golden age of Samar have been withered and lost to time. The population sees those reminders of a great civilization that failed every day, and the failings of their rulers, and have become hardened to it. Corruption is common in even the smallest of villages.

What Samar needs is hope, what Samar needs is heroes! So says the flyer you found, calling you to meet a patron assembling a team of adventurers just like the tales bards sing.

This world is more than a little inspire by Discworld. Magic is a little bit unstable here, and the more advanced parts of society are just at the brink of hitting the steampunk age.  And schemes are afoot…. join us for the fun!

This session is intended to be an introduction to this world and to myself, and is just the beginning. After the session we can discuss options for extending into an ongoing campaign,
